 So March has come and gone. Now the days are longer, and we're that much closer to some warm weather. After the storms we've had the past few days I cannot wait for a bit of sunshine.
At the beginning of March I mentioned that I would be doing a photography challenge. I had to pick up my camera everyday ant take a photo using only manual settings. It was hard, I still get confused over ISO and Aperture. Hopefully I'll be sticking with Manual more now. I'm still learning, but I'm ok with that. I've always liked learning more, otherwise I kind of just get stuck in a rut.

At least once a month I'll meet up with my best mate for a brew and a catch up in one of our towns many coffee shops. We'll waste time chatting about this and that, then waste more time mooching round Primark and a plethora of Charity shops. We've been doing this on a regular basis since 2012, and a semi regular basis for a few years before that. Sometimes it's hard to sync our schedules up (because of work), but we always manage to get there in the end.

I Know I Can

Hello March, how nice of you to join us.

This month I'm going to be doing a photography challenge of sorts. I bought my DSLR 3 years ago and I still don't know what half the buttons do. To try and get to know my camera a little better this month I'm going to take a photo a day using just manual settings. No more auto for me! At least not for 31 days. Auto-focus shall only be used if I take a self portrait. There won't really be a theme to the photos, they'll just be of whatever takes my fancy.

I'm going to try and post the photos every day on Instagram. Then at the beginning of next month I'll do a round up post, showing a few of my favourites from the month. Hopefully this will go well and I don't give up half way through the month.
