Wasn't the snow lovely! Thankfully I wasn't actually out in it in this outfit, otherwise my legs would have dropped off from frostbite. A few toes certainly came close. I pretty much spent the snow day snuggled up in my dressing gown, only venturing out to take a few photos of the prettiness.

I do love this dress, but it's not often I wear it. The material snags quite easily, so I have to be very careful about where I'm walking while wearing it. That's not an easy thing for me, if I go a day without bumping into something I consider it a miracle.

The snow only stuck around for about 24 hours, I was very disappointed. The only good thing about it was that here wasn't much of a slushy aftermath, so I was able to go to work without donning my wellies.

Shorts skirts, big jumpers, that's pretty much my aesthetic. I'll be rocking a miniskirt along with my stickered zimmer when I'm 80.

It snowed yesterday/last night, and I love it! Mostly because I'm not in work until Tuesday, so I don't have to battle the weather on my commute.

 New day, new blog post, new bag. Add them all together and what do you get? A crying bank account, and a "what's in my bag" post, duh.
The items in my bag haven't really changed since the last What's In My Bag post I wrote 6 months ago. There's still a stupid amount of lip products, a few pens (yet no paper to write on), and my purse. I only actually need to carry around a few of these things day to day, but everything seems to gravitate to the bottom of my bag. If I can't find a lipstick it's usually in my bag.
There are some things that I carry around that I forgot to include in this, namely my keys and my phone.

With Christmas over my hours have gone back down at work; no more working 6 days a week (for the foreseeable future)! This means I actually have time to sit down and catch up with the blogging world. Be it writing my own blog, or reading others, I love relaxing with my wifi.
For my first outfit post of the year I thought I'd go with an old favourite: Zara. I still remember when we first got Zara in my hometown, it was lust at first sight. 8 years later and we now have a love that will never die, Ross and Rachel ain't got shit on us.
I'm not a big wearer of white (I say this every time I do a outfit post wearing anything white), but this skirt just had to come home with me last year. The shape, and material is just perf! Zara know how to make a good pencil skirt, they always fit perfectly.

I have such a love/hate relationship with sales; my heart loves them but my head hates them. I'm pretty sure if my bank balance was animate it would be weeping more than I did when Angel died in Rent right now.  Who can deny thyself a bargain? Not I. Technically I did not overspend during the sales (only because I didn't set myself a budget).

Like last year I bought myself a new handbag (look out for a What's In My Bag post) which was reasonably priced, a card holder which was not reasonably priced, and a load of Lush stuff which was half price! Bargain.

Happy New Year! I wish you all the best in 2016. Nothing big really happened to me in 2015, so here's hoping next year is a little more interesting.
New Years resolutions aren't really for me. I'm less of a goals person, and more of a hopes person. For 2016 I hope to not spend as much money on clothes and makeup (wishful thinking), to get a new job, and to just be happier.
