Box With The Kangeroo

song of the day - Death Wish by Lloyd Banks
dress - UrbanOutfitters (currently on sale for £12). boots - Dune. socks - Primark.
I've been wearing my old boots pretty much every day for around 2 years, and it's time to retire them. They've been worn so much the leather has thinned, and there are now two little wholes in the right boot. I do still love them, and haven't managed to throw them out (yet), but I did buy these boots as a replacement a few weeks ago. They're from the same brand (Dune), so let's hope they last just as long.

Everything's Going To Be Alright

song of the day - Everything's Going To Be Alright by Naughty By Nature
Chinese New Year in Manchester is always a good day out. This year I'll be working on Sunday, during the actual parade, so I decided to go down today and try out some of the food. If you're in Manchester tomorrow I'd definitely recommend visiting the centre and spending stupid amounts of money on food.
I really wanted to try out Bing & Bao, but the queue was always massive, so instead I went with Yang Sing. If it hadn't been chucking it down I probably would have queued up, but I was already soaked.
A few different artists have created some street art on display near Selfridges, it was amazing seeing one of the artists at work.
 vegetable dumplings from Yang Sing
Joe On The Go lattes are lovely

With The Wrong Attitude

song of the day - Nice Guys Finish Last by Cobra Starship
top&jumper - Primark. trousers - Zara.
Sometimes you see something in the sale that you really want, but don't exactly need so you don't buy it. Then, when you go back online later because you've decided you actually really do need them they've sold out. That's the story behind these trousers. I was absolutely gutted, then I managed to find them in the big Zara in Manchester, where I immediately snatched them up before I could change my mind. Again.
I mean, green corduroy bell-bottoms are just a must, right? Well, maybe not, but who cares. They were only £7.99.
